Upside Down

We are all tempted on a daily basis to get our worship of God wrong. We tend to put people before God and stuff before people, turning God’s designed order upside down. In our sinfulness, this is a constant tendency. We know God is supposed to be first, yet we allow other people and other things to slip into His place all too often. We need His help to even get this right. He has to give us grace to be able to put Him in His rightful place in our lives. For a man who doesn’t know Christ, he is even is worse condition. For he is not even capable of putting God first. Thus, he will never find true fulfillment and peace because he is operating his life completely out of sorts with how it is supposed to operate. The sad reality is that this individual will grasp and pull at everything this world has to offer and yet never find what he is looking for. But God can reveal to you the purpose for existence, something that no other could ever do. The way to know God is found in  John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The way to know God and His design for your life is through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
